So good!
Okay, this next picture is just for Roger Stowell, everybody else scroll pass. 🙂
This is my Terminator arm (thanks Roger). He’ll be back! I know ya’ll didn’t think that I was holding the chopsticks. LOL!
These noodles were wonderful! I have to thank Kay again over at http://myhomecookedmeals.blogspot.com/2011/04/dinner-tonight-japanese-style-kare.html for the inspiration. You make chicken curry, then just pour some over fresh udon noodles and add toppings. For toppings I used napa cabbage, peas, green beans, scallions and pickled ginger. But let your appetite be your guide.
lol ,ca marche bien pour les baguettes 🙂
Those look simply amazing!
It was.
The Terminator is doing it’s stuff from the dark side. It’s all getting better and better each time I look at a new post.
Thanks. I keep practicing.
Fantastic pictures!
Thanks Sports!
Stunning beautiful! Your post made me want Japanese food!
Thank you Ambrosiana!
I recently discovered the deliciousness of udon noodles but all I’ve been making is teriaki – a curry would be the perfect alternative. Thanks so much!
Thanks sheel. A homemade Japanese soup base is also good with udon: http://www.justhungry.com/basics-kaeshi-soba-and-udon-noodle-soup-or-sauce-base
What a lovely soup. Who knew about a terminator arm…we are all learning through your blog.
Hi Karen. I’m just learning to use it but I can see I’m going to have fun!
Oh this looks really delightful. Really getting the feeling of udon noodles!
Love your terminator arm…lol. I can’t say enough about how beautiful your photos are! You already know I love curry udon :). Yours turned out so nicely too.
P.S. That’s great that you were able to get fresh udon!!
