Sesame Ginger Beef with Two Peppers
1/2 pound of beef steak, sliced into strips
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 tsp sesame seed oil
1 shallot, thinly sliced vertically
4 cloves of garlic, coarsely chopped
1 inch piece of ginger, slivered
1/2 yellow bell pepper, thinly sliced
1/2 serrano pepper, seeds removed and thinly sliced
1 tbsp tamari soy sauce
Salt and pepper
1 tbsp roasted sesame seed
Saute the beef in the sesame and vegetable oils until half cooked. Add the shallot, garlic and ginger and continue to cook for 2 minutes. Add the peppers and saute for another 2 minutes. Add the soy sauce and stir to blend. Adjust to taste with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
